I believe that everyone is part of a bigger community, whether they are your child’s school, your local county, or the world. And every member of a community should work to make it a better place.

Since my kids started high school, I have volunteered my time photographing musicals, plays, football games, dance competitions, and the band.

In 2019, when my daughter was graduating from high school, I realized that there were seniors without the means to have professional senior portraits done. I reached out to the Fairfax County Division of Youth and Family Services and offered a senior portrait session for any of the youth graduating. I photograph several youths each year, giving each of them their own session and photos to help commemorate this important milestone in their life.

I currently work with a wonderful organization called Helping Children Worldwide that started as a mission to save orphans in Sierra Leone, Africa. It has since grown to provide a hospital and life saving outreach medical programs. In July of 2023, I traveled to Sierra Leone to provide photos and videos for their development team.
